CAS Number: 75-56-9. A colorless, highly flammable liquid that is
soluble in water and has a sweet, alcoholic or ether-like odor.
It is used primarily in the production of polyethers and
propylene glycol. Also used in the fumigation of foodstuffs and
plastic medical instruments, and in the preparation of ubricants,
surfactants, and oil demulsifiers. Chemical formula = C3H6O.
Molecular weight = 58.08 g/mol.

Also known as: Hexone. CAS Number: 108-10-1. A colorless,
flammable liquid with a faint camphor-like odor. It is used as a
solvent for gums, resins, paints, varnishes, and lacquers, as an
alcohol denaturant, in the extraction of rare metals, and in the
creation of synthetic flavorings. Chemical formula = C6H12O.
Molecular weight = 100.16.

Also known as: 2-Hexanone. CAS Number: 591-78-6. A colorless
liquid with a very pungent, acetone-like odor. It is a waste
product of wood pulping, coal gasification, and oil shale
operations. Was formerly used in paint, paint thinner, and other
chemical substances, but its uses have been restricted and it is
no longer made in the United States. Chemical formula =
C4H9COCH3. Molecular weight = 100.16 g/mol.

CAS Number: 131-11-3. A colorless oily liquid with a slightly
sweet odor. It is used in solid rocket propellants, lacquers,
plastics, safety glasses, rubber coating agents, molding powders,
insect repellants, and pesticides. Chemical formula = C10H10O4.
Molecular weight = 194.19 g/mol.

CAS Number: 123-73-9. A clear to yellow liquid, whose vapor (at
high concentrations) can be very irritable to the respiratory
system. It is used as an intermediate in the production of other
industrial chemicals. It also occurs naturally in foods, and is
formed during the combustion of fossil fuels (including engine
exhausts), wood and tobacco and in heated cooking oils. Chemical

suffocating, slighlty fruity odor. It is used as an intermediate
in the manufacture of polyvinyl & other plastics, in the

dissolves in water. It is used as an intermediate in the production

water. It is used in the manufacture of water-based latex paints
and adhesives, textile and paper coatings, and in the production
