Stormwater Special Waters

Special waters are listed in Appendix A (part B.1 through part
B.8) of the Stormwater Construction Activity General Permit MN
R100001 and are comprised of Outstanding Resource Value Waters
(listed in Minn. R. 7050.0180 but not including calcareous
fens) and Trout Lakes (identified in Minn. R. 6264.0050, subp.
2) and Trout Streams (listed in Minn. R. 6264.0050, subp. 4).
These waters of the state have high water quality, wilderness
characteristics, unique scientific or ecological significance,
exceptional recreational value, or other special qualities
which warrant stringent protection from pollution.
